Afterhours, weekends and on public holidays, you can call the Spoedpost (Emergency Post) on 023 224 25 26. The Spoedpost is available for medical assistance that cannot be delayed until the next working day.
The Spoedpost is located next to the Emergency Rooms inside the Spaarne Gasthuis Hospitals – Haarlem Zuid (South) and Haarlem Noord (North) locations.
Spoedpost Spaarne Gasthuis Hospital Haarlem Zuid is located at Boerhaavelaan 22 and is open Monday to Friday from 17:00 – 08:00, and 24 hours a day on weekends and public holidays.
Spoedpost Spaarne Gasthuis Hospital Haarlem Noord is located at Vondelweg 999 and is open Monday to Friday evenings from 17:00 to 23:00, and weekends and public holidays from 08:00 – 23:00. Note that this Spoedpost is closed from 23:00 every night.
Never go directly to the Spoedpost but always call for an appointment first. Your call will be answered by a doctor’s assistant who has been specially trained to provide the best possible advice. You will always be asked for the registration number of your health insurance in order to process your request – so have this on hand when calling.
